    Hi Niki,

Can you recommend a plugin for online class registration. Our website is Divi themed, we would like our members to register online for various classes and all classes are free.

    Thank you, Suzanne

    Hi Suzanne,

Do you mean a plugin that allows course delivery? If so, I am using Learndash for this site and it is a gold standard as one of the best WP course delivery plugin. It is a paid plugin with an annual expense. If you used it with Divi it would “look” different than this site but would perform in a similar fashion.

There are many others as well, and I’ve dabbled with them a bit. Some free and some paid. The most important thing to to evaluate your needs in terms of features. Here is an article that looks at various features of a few options. But if you want my opinion, I’ve used a few, and Learndash is really amazing.

Hi Niki. Apologies, I should have explained better. We are looking for an easy “register for this class” (approx 10 different classes) plugin . There will be no payment needed (that will change in the future) and we will need a “cap” on registrants. A plugin we can build on including full data base of 500+ members…the online registration is the most important right now (thanx COVID) and we are not opposed to a paid plugin if it suits current and future needs.

Hope that helps and thank you again, Suzanne

I still think that Learndash is your best bet. The most important thing is to think about your future needs when you make a choice (you don’t want to build something out today that does not meet your needs down the road)

But take a look at the features to see if it suits you 🙂. People can register for free or paid. And there are many add-on plugins to make it suit very specific purposes. There is a huge support community for it as well. (The Facebook group is fantastic)
